The Ever-Expanding Resource

  The internet has changed the way we look at the world around us...mostly because we look at everything through our phones now, but that doesn't mean we can't use that to our advantage as teachers! As we navigate this new technological landscape, we must find ways to innovate, create, and share our knowledge across a variety of platforms. This includes sharing resources with our fellow teachers, and giving streamlined access to resources for our students. Luckily, we have the tools to be able to do that with a variety of websites! One of these websites is Twitter, which was honestly the last website I expected to use, however its applications are already proving to be useful in many ways.  From instant access to the most urgent news stories, to interesting facts and technological discoveries, it is a very diverse and accessible application. Blog #1 - Beginning of The Semester Journal Entry

     Wow. Third year sure has come quickly. As we enter this semester I can't help but feel anxious, yet excited. I think the combination of the state of the world right, now mixed with learning how everything will work in online instruction has a great deal to do with my anxieties. My greatest concern is that there will be so much to track and follow over this semester with the new online format that I will lose track and fall behind. I will try my very hardest to accomplish every assignment and stay on top of things, though I know it will be a challenge. Ahead, I will discuss the 5 learning competencies outlined in the B.Ed program, and my goals for each of them.
